Edwin Morgan is the first poet whose name I remembered. In the Snack Bar taught me alliteration and how to notice. So it's a real pleasure to be in this anthology celebrating the centenary of his birth. My sonnet One Thousand Flowers was inspired by Morgan's One Cigarette and a magical page from one of his collage scrapbooks which featured a paperweight.
Thanks to Speculative Books for publishing, and Colin Herd for an inspiring workshop..
